Pinceladas curiosas y divertidas de la Euroliga, por Yarone Arbel

Hoy toca recomendación, así que me acerco al divertido BallinEurope para mostraros una forma diferente de hablar de la Euroliga, con pinceladas cortas y divertidas que nos pueden ayudar a entender un poco en qué consistió la primera jornada. Es la visión de un tío ducho en ésto del basket europeo como Yarone Arbel. Y nos deja perlas como éstas:

Derrick Sharp (Maccabi) – The veteran didn’t play a single second the entire game in Zagreb. The last time a Maccabi coach chose not to use Derrick was in 6th of January 2000. After a 195 games streak and 3,213 days a new count will start. Back then in the first week of the millennium Maccabi was only 1/6 from long range. Last night they held a poor 4/16. If that’s a coincidence or not… you judge.

Dewarick Spencer & David Bluthenthal (Le Mans) – Now this would be a weekly check – which of the two took more shots for his team? This time Bluth win 14-13 with also better accuracy.

Nana Mensah-Bonsu (Joventut) – Had a very busy night under both baskets. Around Joventut’s rim he blocked three shots but on the other end he was blocked three times as well. Not many players get to feel such an activity on both ends on the floor.
